A mandatory Behaviour Change Program (BCP) will be imposed for drink-driving, drug-driving, combined drink and drug-driving, a number of other serious driving offences involving alcohol and/or drugs and refusing to be tested for alcohol and/or drugs.

The nature of the offence, along with any prior offending, will determine whether an offender needs to complete a Drink Driver Program, Drug Driver Program or an Intensive Drink and Drug Driver Program.

Our programs can be delivered in Gippsland with locations in Bairnsdale, Traralgon and Wonthaggi. As well as the Eastern and Southeastern suburbs of Melbourne based in Ferntree Gully and Caulfield.

Drink Driver Program

For offenders who have committed a first drink-driving offence with a BAC reading below 0.15, his Drink Driving Program is a six-hour group program run over two sessions

Drug Driver Program

For offenders who have committed a first drug-driving offence (failure of an oral fluids test), this Drug Driving Program consists of a six-hour program, run over two sessions.

Intensive Drink and Drug Driver Program

For more serious offences such as a first drink-driving offence with a BAC of 0.15 or more, repeat offences, or refusals to be tested for alcohol or drugs, offenders must complete the Intensive Behavior Change Program. This program includes 3 group sessions plus an individual counselling session.

Pre-interlock removal program

The Pre-Interlock Removal Program is mandatory for drink-driving offenders mandated to complete Intensive BCP. The program is to be completed before offenders can apply to have their interlock condition removed. Please check Alcohol Interlock Management System (AIMS) for eligibility.
